Terms of use
The rules for using Hurrahly, in plain words. Updated 8 October 2026.
Who we are
Hurrahly is a party-planning app run by the Hurrahly team in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using Hurrahly, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our privacy page.
Your account
- You need to be 18 or over to create an account and organise a party. Guests and helpers of any age can reply using the link they're sent; children should reply with a parent or carer.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give your real name and an email address you use, so we can help if you're locked out.
Your party and your guests' details
- What you add to your party (guests, plans, notes, prices) stays yours. We only use it to run Hurrahly for you, as our privacy page explains.
- Only add people you're actually inviting or working with, and only the details you need. If you add someone's phone number, email, dietary needs or allergies, make sure they're happy for you to.
- When you share a link (an invitation, a helper's job, a view-only link), anyone with that link can see what it shows. Send it only to the people it's for, and turn it off if it reaches the wrong person.
- Co-organisers you add can see and change your party. Remove them in Party team when they no longer need it.
Using Hurrahly fairly
Please don't use Hurrahly to:
- send unwanted messages, spam or anything abusive, hateful or illegal;
- collect people's details for anything other than your party;
- try to get into other people's parties or accounts, overload the app, or copy it.
If someone breaks these rules, we may pause or close their account and turn off their links.
Money, suppliers and bookings
- Hurrahly helps you keep track of costs, payments and who owes what. It doesn't take or send any money. Payments happen between you, your suppliers and the people sharing the cost.
- Suppliers, venues and quotes you add are your own choices. We don't recommend, check or guarantee any supplier.
- The rough guides (like how many drinks to buy) and totals are there to help, but please double-check anything important, such as numbers and allergies, with your caterer or venue.
The service
- Hurrahly doesn't cost anything to use at the moment. We may add paid plans or extras in future. If we do, we'll tell you before they start, show the price clearly, and never charge you without your say-so.
- We work hard to keep Hurrahly running and your data safe, with daily backups. But like any app it may sometimes be unavailable, or change as we improve it. We'll tell you about big changes in What's new.
- Dietary needs and allergies are deleted 30 days after the party, as our privacy page explains.
If something goes wrong
We're not responsible for losses that come from things outside our control, from suppliers or guests, or from information you entered. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or our responsibility for anything the law doesn't allow us to exclude.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Account. Your parties, guests and links are deleted with it. We may close accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
Changes and the law
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and tell you about important changes in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Questions
Hurrahly is in a private test. If you're testing it, use the Feedback button. If you're a guest or helper, ask the organiser who invited you.
